Lisa Antonucci, owner and founder of My Dog Training Center, LLC, has been working with dogs for as long as she could walk and talk, and has been formally training dogs her entire adult life. Growing up around horses and dogs and a variety of other creatures, it was her goal to become a veterinarian. Fortunately, after 3 years of study, she chose to leave the medical field, began working with dogs full time and a career was born. She “stepped off the path” only once for a short time, to train humans in the Human Resource corporate world, coaching and teaching them how to reach their goals. But the dog world pulled her back to stay.
My Dog Training Center, LLC is Lisa’s Dream Child. Her goal is to create a place where any dog will reach its full potential regardless of breed, size, age, temperament or ability of its owner. She discovered early on that treating dogs, (and their humans,) with kindness and respect would achieve better results than forcing complicity. She takes great care in helping owners understand expectations and possibilities for their dogs and then becomes the perfect coach. Whether your dog wants to become the next Agility champion or a polite companion this is the place to come.
